Telecommunications Services

Telecommunications service is exclusive within our conference facilities. It is provided by in-house personnel and we offer a variety of choices. We can provide analog and digital phone lines. Phones that can be rented include single-line sets, speakerphones, cordless phones or multi-line digital sets with caller I.D. Our data network includes fiber-optic, Cat 5 and Cat 6 infrastructure, T-1's and ISDN lines. Phone hookups can be provided in all meeting rooms, exhibit halls and ballrooms. We also offer a variety of features, including call waiting and 3-way conference calling. We have 2 carriers with interior cell sites installed, AT&T and Sprint.

Among the several ways we can assist you to communicate while you are in our sunny South Florida conference facility is by providing voice mail. If are away from your booth on the exhibit floor and would like to allow your customers to leave a message for you, this feature can be added to a phone line. We also can provide fax machines and digital pagers.

Video conferencing is another way our telecommunications staff can help. We have capabilities up to 12 channels at 768 KBPS. Our two-way video can be placed anywhere within our convention facility and connected to one or more distant locations. If you need a satellite downlink, we can provide that, also.

When we expanded to our current 600,000 sq. ft. conference facilities, we incorporated a state-of-the art Teleconference Suite into the design. This specially designed room allows our clients to conduct a teleconference in the comfort of a boardroom setting. We recently installed a 62" flat screen digital TV in this suite.

No matter what your telecommunications needs might while you are at the Broward County Convention Center, our convention facility staff is committed to fulfilling those needs and providing you with unparalleled customer service.

We have made it convenient for our convention facility clients to place their telecommunications orders. Our on-line ordering section is easy to use and secure. You will be sent an email confirmation that your order has been received by our staff. Orders can also be faxed or mailed after completing the appropriate form.
