CCLD Networks has provided service to thousands of events in the convention and hospitality industry throughout the last three decades and we understand the importance of technology for each event. CCLD Networks is on-site at the Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center and has the experience and expertise to ensure your technology services function seamlessly during your time in south Florida. Below are the technology service offerings that may be provided at your event.
We offer various levels for wired Internet services. Our Internet Lite and Standard Wired Internet Connections are best suited for general web surfing, checking emails, etc. The Internet Premium Connection is a great solution for clients that would like to demonstrate systems on their website, stream videos, VPN to their home office, etc. Clients can order a hub rental and cat-5 patch cables directly from CCLD Networks and we can install before any booth setup has begun. We do allow clients to bring in their own hub/router and cat-5 patch cables, but we are here to help if you would like to order everything for your booth directly through us.
Dedicated bandwidth options are also available. For our dedicated service, we will install an internet connection that is in an independent network from everyone else in the facility and the bandwidth will not be shared with anyone else.
The Broward County Convention Center utilizes a 1Gbps Internet Circuit.
A free wireless network named BCCC Free Wi-Fi is available in the Atrium Lobby, Cyber Café and the Floridian Ballroom Pre-Function Area. This network is rate limited to 256Kbps and is good for general web surfing.
We have a separate paid network named BCCCWIFI that is available in the lobby and meeting room areas (excludes exhibit halls). We have a daily rate of $15 and a weekly rate of $60. The speed of this BCCCWIFI network is rate limited to 1Mbps.
For the exhibit halls, we provide wireless service for $300 per user for a connection that is not rate limited. Upon receipt of the order, we will provide a wireless network name and password that can be used at the event. This service will be made available from the first day of move-in, event days and move-out days. Typically, download speeds from devices will come in between 5Mbps to 20Mbps depending on the wireless environment. Wireless network packages are also available that can be ordered in increments of 10, 20 and 50 users. Wireless Internet Service is inherently vulnerable to various interference that is sometimes out of our control. For mission critical applications, we recommend using a wired connection.
